Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how TabMind ("TabMind", "we", "us") processes information when you use the TabMind website, dashboard and browser extension.
1. Information we process
Account information may include your email address, name and authentication identifiers. When you explicitly save a tab, TabMind processes its URL, title, description, favicon, readable page content and related metadata. Bookmarks and browsing history are accessed only after you choose the corresponding import feature and grant the optional browser permission. We also process limited operational data such as request time, error details and usage counts needed to secure and operate the service.
2. How we use information
We use this information only to authenticate your account; save, summarize, categorize, deduplicate, search and display your library; import content you select; synchronize the browser extension with TabMind; enforce plan limits; prevent abuse; and maintain service reliability. TabMind does not use saved browsing content for advertising, credit decisions or unrelated profiling.
3. Browser extension permissions
The tabs and host permissions let TabMind process pages only when you ask it to save or inspect them. Storage keeps your connection token, language, service address and excluded-domain preferences on your device. Side panel displays extension controls beside the current page. Bookmarks and history are optional permissions requested only when you start those imports. The extension does not continuously monitor browsing activity and does not read passwords or form entries.
4. AI-assisted processing
When an AI feature is available for your plan and is invoked, selected saved-page content may be sent to the AI provider configured by TabMind solely to generate the requested summary, category or tags. When AI is unavailable, TabMind may use deterministic local processing instead. We do not permit AI providers to use this content for TabMind advertising.
5. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by infrastructure, database, authentication, email, security and AI service providers acting on our behalf and only as necessary to provide TabMind. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain account and saved-library information while your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Items moved to Trash remain available for restoration until permanently deleted or the Trash is emptied. You may delete saved items from TabMind. You may also request account and associated-data deletion using the contact address below. Limited records may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance or dispute resolution.
7. Security and international processing
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted HTTPS transport and access controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to applicable legal safeguards.
8. Your choices and rights
You control which tabs are saved and whether optional bookmarks or history permissions are granted. Browser permissions can be revoked through Chrome settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete or restrict processing of personal information. Contact us to exercise these rights.
9. Children
TabMind is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as TabMind evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. Questions, privacy requests and deletion requests can be sent to [email protected].
